The Novel - What Should I Write About?

I choose to write fantasy fiction. You will hear more about my story in future blog entries. I will include links in each entry that will be helpful to all of you, including those who are interested in different genres.

Generating ideas for a novel seemed difficult to me at first, but now I have more ideas than I could possibly use. The Internet is such a wonderful resource. Thank you Tim Berners-Lee for giving us such a valuable tool.

Use “writing prompts” and try to create your own ideas for prompts. Additionally, your favorite search engine can help you explore new ideas that will lead you to the subject for your novel. By using these simple techniques I was able to create many novel ideas to choose from.
